On May 2, 2014, the City of Dania Beach published a Request for Qualification (“RFQ) No. 14-008 for security services for various city facilities and locations. Services requested by the City included: Security services for the City Hall/Library/Parking garage site and parks administration building, weekly reports of service, electronic verification of patrols, assistance in customer service, and minor maintenance assistance of City properties. The days and hours of service may vary. Preferred qualifications include familiarity of the City sites, the City, the citizens and City Hall activities. In addition, security services may involve a vehicle and other City properties. |

On May 16, 2014, the City received thirteen responses to the Request for Qualifications and a City staff review committee was formed. The Review Committee consisted of Marc LaFerrier, Mark Bates and Eric Walton. The Review Committee met on May 22, 2014 and June 25, 2013. |
